Program Overview
The George Gervin Technology Center provides a safe environment and an atmosphere conducive to learning for non-traditional students. At GGTC, students are encouraged to critically examine their existing situations and circumstances, and to actively participate in setting goals to improve the quality of their lives. GGTC staff members assess students needs; learning gaps and obstacles to success are identified. Students are included in creating effective plans that will ensure their academic achievement in high school and beyond. Encouragement and assistance are provided as the student prepares to enter the world of higher education, and/or embark on the development of relationships and communications between staff, students and their families are key components in the success of the GGTC campus.
